Reginald Holmes has been an 8th Grade Social Studies teacher at VFMS for 3 years now, after having taught at Conestoga High School. He gained his B.A. from Neumann University in Political Science and Secondary Education, furthering his education with an M.A. in Educational Leadership with Principal certification from the same university. He has been married to his wife Tiffany for 6 years.
In an interview with the PTO, Mr Holmes shared the following information:
Pets – Two cats.
Hobbies now – Volunteering; cycling; archery.
Hobbies, sports and interests when you were in Middle School – Track; football; debating.
Interesting/little known facts or talents – I used to be able to juggle – but I haven’t done it for a few years now!
Advice for parents of Middle School children – Encourage your children to talk to their teachers when they have a question or a problem. Open communication with their teachers will allow them to have a deeper connection to their classes and their own academic progress.
