Pets – No pets!
Hobbies now – Reading; knitting; scrapbooking; watching sports; playing with my son and spending time with family and friends.
Hobbies, sports and interests when you were in Middle School – When I was in middle school, I participated in cheerleading, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse and netball. I worked on the school newspaper and I enjoyed reading, running, taking pictures and going to school dances.
Interesting/little known facts or talents –I come from a big family. I have 30 cousins and I see them all at least once a year. I was a sportscaster in college and was the commentator for the women’s basketball team. I almost became a math teacher, but a college professor helped me change my mind!
Advice for parents of Middle School children – Encourage your children to get involved at middle school. There are so many sports teams, clubs and service activities at VFMS, and they offer a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy their years here.
