Dear Fellow Valley Forge Middle School Parents.
VFMS NEEDS OUR HELP. VFMS PTO is reaching out to each parent to help VFMS with key enrichment programs for our children. Your direct donations go a long way in supporting existing programs as well as the adapting exciting new ones for our children.
Your contributions are 100% tax deductible (VFMS PTO is a 501c(3) organization).
We had a tremendous support from the parents last year and raised over 30k through the direct donation program. We were able to fund a new virtual reality (VR) classroom, new library furniture, many Golden Apple grants and a number of valuable cultural arts programs including assemblies and author visits.
We have worked with Mr.Gibson and his wonderful staff to identify specific needs for the school that need your support.
These initiatives and programs will only be possible because of your support.
- New Presentation System for the Auditorium including sound and a new presentation system for the Audion; These systems need urgent replacement.
- New Patio and outdoor classroom furniture.: VFMS needs to replace the existing ageing furniture.
- Cultural arts programs: Primarily author visits and assemblies. This is a critical program which ensures our children get a well-rounded experience.
- Golden Apple Grants: Golden Apple grants support teacher initiative. Requests are for usually smaller amounts supporting outstanding and innovative programs, ideas and/or purchases that will enrich the educational experience at VFMS. In the past teachers requested and we sponsored things like reading nook for a classroom, programming license for a coding class, extra books and games for indoor recess, AppleTVs to enhance instruction, LifePrint cameras for library programs and many others.
Let’s ensure our children get the best enrichment and a classroom learning experience which equips them with the skills to thrive.
The direct donations program is our only reach out to you to raise money for the school.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!
