Musical Director/Producer Suzanne Dickinger and Director Megan Nicole O’Brien are excited to present the Tony Award winning musical Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim. An ambivalent Cinderella? A blood-thirsty Little Red Ridinghood? A Prince Charming with a roving eye? A Witch...who raps? They're all among the cockeyed characters that will come to life as you enjoy the talents of the all-student cast, crew and pit-orchestra. This outrageous musical comedy of fractured fairytales begins as a lively irreverent fantasy and becomes a moving lesson about community responsibility and the stories we tell our children. Although Into the Woods has familiar storybook characters, the mature humor may be inappropriate for very young children.
